You will find them in Barão, on the shores of Óbidos lagoon. This lake is perfect to start kitesurfing, since besides being a natural landscape of great beauty, its calm and shallow waters make this activity totally safe. Barão is located in the north of Portugal, an hour and a half from Lisbon and only half an hour from Peniche, the second best town in Europe for surfing after Godrevy Beach in England. Kitesurfing is a sport that, like surfing, consists of gliding through the water on a board, but with the difference that kitesurfing uses the propulsion of a kite, so the wind is essential. The kite is attached to your body by means of a harness. The most important thing for this course is knowing how to swim, the technique will be taught by the instructors of Passaro Kitesurf School.
You can choose between an individual lesson, which will allow you to learn quickly how to handle the kite and end up being completely autonomous or a group lesson for 2 people, in which you will learn through observation and personalized comments for each of you by the instructor.
